  1. 28K of RAM for the required data, default of 100K for the configurable disk cache.
  2. The amount of RAM required is proportional to the number of sockets requested.
    100K is for the default of 10 sockets.
  3. Different Ethernet drivers require different amounts of RAM. Most PCI bus Ethernet
    device driver will require at least 32K of RAM at the default settings, and could
    require more if larger numbers of transmit and receive buffers are required.
  4. The amount of RAM required will vary according to the number of serial ports
    in use, approximately 8K per port. 16K of RAM is required for two ports, the
    standard configuration.
  5. USB class and device drivers will vary in the amount of ROM and RAM required.
